Phronesis’ great jazz album

If you’re as fond of piano jazz as I am, check out the album Organic Warfare by a European jazz group with the great name Phronesis. Here is the groups’ Myspace page, and here is the website of the group’s organizer, bassist Jasper Hoiby. You can listen to clips at both. Here are some quotes from the critics. Dynamic and fun with a great drummer and very clever and energetic melodies. Unfortunately, it looks like you can only get their album through the English Amazon site (or iTunes) but if the quality of their music keeps up, they’ll probably hit pretty big in the United States. Highly recommended.
