Max Hastings’ new book

I’ve become a big fan of historian Max Hastings since discovering his book Retribution last year. He’s a brilliant writer, and I enjoyed his books Bomber Command and Armageddon just as much. His newest book, Winston’s War: Churchill 1940-45, was published this week, and I’m very much looking forward to what appears to be a very critical look at Sir Winston. If you have an interest in World War II history, Hastings is very much worth your attention.
