I was in studio this morning with Armstrong & Getty to talk about PLF's Obamacare lawsuit, the Michigan race preferences decision, my book, and the state of the legal profession generally. You can listen online here.
If you missed George Will's column about my book, it's here.
The quote from Jonathan Swift I mentioned is from Gullivers Travels: "It is a maxim among these lawyers that whatever has been done before, may legally be done again: and therefore they take special care to record all the decisions formerly made against common justice, and the general reason of mankind. These, under the name of precedents, they produce as authorities to justify the most iniquitous opinions; and the judges never fail of directing accordingly."
By the way, I mentioned that I grew up in a museum in L.A. which is featured in many films, including Saving Mr. Banks. You can learn more about it here.
