If you missed it, Christina and I shared the mike with Armstrong and Getty this morning. You can listen to the recording here. We talked about Right to Try, Gov. Brown's new "CRONEY" legislation, Friedrichs, our forthcoming book, and how I define libertarianism.
By the way, there are a lot of really good books on what libertarianism means. The latest is David Boaz's The Libertarian Mind. It's been getting rave reviews, but I'm sorry to say I haven't read it yet. I remember enjoying Charles Murray's What It Means to Be A Libertarian. There are, of course, the works of Ayn Rand, including Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal, but my favorite intro work has long been Rose Wilder Lane's The Discovery of Freedom. It's outdated now, and its claims that Islam is compatible with libertarianism are at least dubious--but it's a beautifully written little book, full of joy and pride about freedom, and I love it.
