Two new books coming

I'm delighted to announce that I've signed publication agreements for not one, but two new books to come soon. The first, You Don't Own Me: Individualism and the Culture of Liberty will examine, well, the role of individualism in culture, particularly but not exclusively, American culture. It should be published by the end of this year. And in Proclaiming Liberty, scheduled for publication next year, I look at the history and meaning of the Declaration of Independence.
