Last week I spoke at the Cato Institute about the Indian Child Welfare Act, which is 40 years old this year. On the panel with me were Matthew McGill, who represents the plaintiffs in the ongoing ICWA case in Texas, Brackeen v. Zinke, and Charles Rothfeld, who represented the father in Adoptive Couple v. Baby Girl in 2013, which was the last time the Supreme Court addressed ICWA. You can watch the panel here:
